Here are my CrossFit, Olympic and Weightlifting Personal Records. Scroll to the bottom for my thoughts on where I am going with this. The Star near the exercise or workout, is meant to mean, that particular workout/exercise is one that I am continually working on and/or trying to improve. You’ll notice numbers near my PR numbers, those are my goals. Also you will start seeing the dates of when I PRd near that lift or workout.

Bench Press 225 (225 for 10 reps)

Snatch Pull 195 31 Oct

Snatch Balance 155

Overhead Press 175

Pullups 25 (40 reps)

Box jump 48 inches (4 45# 4 inches bumper plates + 25# 2 inches plate)

Thoughts updated 18 October 2011

My thoughts are this. All I do in the gym is meant to improve my athletic ability and thus improve my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I understand that the best train hard in the GYM, and BJJ fighters are no different. I am putting in the time now, to best in the best possible shape, so when I reach black belt or when I do MMA in the future, I am already well versed in weight and cardio training. Everyday is foot forward to improvement!

I love Olympic Lifting, and am loving working to improve my snatch and Clean and Jerk. I follow MikesGym.org Olympic Lift WODs. . The Front Squat is my favorite squat, because of the strength and flexibility requirement. I also love the overhead head squat, so much overall flexibily and stregnth is required to do this, and its why I love it!

I want an athletic bench press, meaning, I want NFL combine bench, where you rep 225# for as many times as possible.  Deadlifts are just manly, and need to be done.
